9. Our Top Marketing Blog Posts of 2017
We covered a lot of marketing topics this year – there were just too many to narrow down, so we compiled our best marketing blog posts of the year:
8. Our Best SEO/Website-Related Blog Posts of 2017
We also talked a lot about SEO, website design and many other similar website-related topics. Again, it was difficult to narrow down the best possible blog post to represent the category, so we have compiled a short list of the finalists:
When it comes to local SEO, one of the most important things you can do is to create and optimize your Google My Business profile.
As we mentioned in our blog post, Google My Business has the biggest impact on the success of your local SEO. This comes straight from Moz’ Local Search Ranking Factors survey.
That’s precisely why we included this blog post in our top 12 blog posts of 2017.
One of the most popular blog posts on the Yocale blog this year was ‘5 of the Best Growth Hacks By the Top SaaS Companies,’ which is why it deserved a spot on our list. It resonated with a lot of our readers.
We took a look at top SaaS companies, including Slack, Intercom, Dropbox, Evernote and Bizible and the growth hacks that allowed them to achieve an unprecedented level of users on the cheap.
If you haven’t read this one yet, you might want to do so.

Another topic we covered a lot this year was how businesses can improve their cash flow and/or sales in general.
Here are our top picks in this category:
Cybersecurity continues to be a major concern for businesses and, in fact, is among the top challenges that business owners face. Small businesses are particularly at risk.
Failing to protect yourself can result in data theft, a loss of profits and jeopardize the trust you have to worked to create with your clients.
As such, it is imperative that businesses prioritize online safety, which is why we have included our blog post, ‘Your 10 Point Online Safety Checklist For Your Business’ to be among our top blog posts.

Yocale is all about powering businesses the smart way – for appointment-based businesses, that means taking online bookings so that your business stays open 24/7. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits of scheduling software.
Scheduling software also automates your business (making your business more efficient), reduces costly no-shows (for example, did you know that the average business that brings in 10K a month will lose 26K a year due to no-shows?) and much, much more.
Whether you run a dog grooming business, a salon, a massage therapy business or any other type of appointment-based business, you can benefit from scheduling software. We’ve touched on a lot of these ideas in the following articles:
Not only did we talk a lot about the benefits of scheduling software for appointment-based businesses this year, but we also talked a lot about how businesses can choose the best scheduling software for their business.
Our blog post, ‘Choosing the Best Scheduling Software For Your Business,’ covered the topic in depth.
Not only did we want to help people choose the best software, but we wanted to help our customers get the most out of their software through blog posts like:
One of the most exciting things to happen at Yocale this year was our partnership with Google.
Our blog post, ‘Reserve with Google: Be Discovered and Booked By Google Users,’ was the blog post that officially announced the news.
We partnered with Google so that we could offer our clients Reserve with Google – the new Google booking button.
The Google booking button will allow Google users to book appointments straight from Google itself. This will allow our clients to exponentially increase their bookings in the new year.
It will also mean that they won’t have to worry about whether or not they are driving enough traffic to their websites.
Yocale users are also very excited about this partnership as well. That’s precisely why we are considering this of our top blog post of 2017.
Do you want to know how you can get Reserve with Google? Read this blog post.
