As the world around us continues to emphasize digital solutions, today’s customers expect businesses to evolve alongside these developing trends.

In this era of rapid technological change and advancement, massive infrastructural shifts can occur in a short span of mere years. These paradigm shifts fundamentally alter the way the businesses around us function – although the transition from “old” to “new” is rarely a smooth one.

Decades ago, many customers were apprehensive about performing transactions online. However, today, digital payments have become ubiquitous and have seen widespread adoption.

In fact, digital wallets – such as Apple Pay and PayPal – have surged in usage over the past several years, and are even expected to overtake global credit card usage by 2019.

Simply put, the world is changing – and as a business owner, it’s essential to be prepared.
